Cordless Gardening Maintenance
This particular package comes with 2 x 4Ah batteries which are interchangeable between the lawnmower and grass trimmer and these batteries work particularly better than the standard 2Ah batteries that some other brands are using. This is evident when it comes to mowing and grass trimming runtimes. Handles can be folded down for tighter storage, mowing heights can be adjusted using a single lever and the price level especially at promotional periods give excellent bang for the buck.

Straight out of box, this Lawnmower is more or less ready to go with a small bit of DIY skills required to put it all together. Assembly should only take around 10 to 15 minutes of your time and then you are ready to go. Longer grass will need to be mowed using the higher settings initially and then you can mow at the lower heights once grass heights are under control.
Motor & Stripes
The power level offered here is 24V and it normally takes around 1 hour to get the batteries recharged. You should be aware here that it comes with a brushless motor for more efficiency, runtime and cutting power and the small rear roller helps to provide nice garden stripes across the lawn. While the stripes are a nice addition, it still doesn’t give the perfect picturesque stripes that heavier petrol rear roller lawnmowers can offer. Still though, it’s a great addition to have these rear rollers in place at the lower price level to help give you lawn stripes.
Grass Collection
Grass collection of dry grass is really good, and it has a capacity of 35L so while its not the biggest, it is still plenty big enough for both small and medium sized lawns. The grass bag hangs on easily at the rear and its robust enough to withstand general wear and tear for plenty of years to come. Another nice addition is the grass full indicator on the side, so you know in advance when the grass collection box needs to be emptied.
Mowing Heights
To cater for various grass heights, there are 5 mowing cut heights to choose from that range from a low of 2.2cm up as far as 6.2cm. Typically, we find that the 2nd or 3rd mow height setting works perfectly fine, but it is important to mow regularly (every 2 weeks) to keep your grass growth under control. These grass heights can be controlled using a single lever and you can expect to get 20 to 30 minutes of mowing runtime depending on lawn conditions (dampness/grass density/grass length)
Grass Trimmer Included
One big attraction for this package is the fact that you get a 3kg Grass trimmer included and while its not strong enough for heavy tall thick weeds, it is perfect for tidying up around flower beds, in between trees, under benches/trampolines – basically the areas that the lawnmower is not able to reach.
The line is plenty strong enough for light to moderate type work and a universal spool can be used at a later date when the spool runs out. The Grass trimmer line can last for over 2-3 years and the fact that it cordless with a second battery means that you have no excuses whatsoever in keeping your garden in tip top condition all year round!
