McGregor Cordless Lawnmowers Pros
2 Batteries – instead of having just 1 battery, you now have 2 batteries included in the pack which provides longer mowing runtimes.
Cord Free Mowing – as the mowing is powered by rechargeable batteries, there are no power cables to worry about or extension cords for that matter.
Lawn Dimensions – there are no limitations to the areas where you can work as there are no power cord limitations involved. It is also an environmentally friendly option when compared to petrol lawnmowers plus there are no maintenance costs, spark plugs, fuels or oils to worry about.
No Pull Cord – starting the lawnmower is much simpler with the push button starter as there are no pull cord starter system in place.
McGregor Cordless Lawnmowers Cons
Battery Power – while the battery power of 2.5Ah is quite good, they are still well behind the Spear & Jackson batteries which are 4.0Ah, so the battery mowing runtime is lower with McGregor vs Spear & Jackson.
Battery Depletion – if you have difficult mowing conditions such as dense grasses, damp grasses or tall grasses, you will find that the battery life will deplete quicker than normal - this is typical on all cordless battery lawnmowers.
Higher Price – as you are getting a cord free mower and 2 batteries, the price to you will be a good bit higher. For example, the 34cm McGregor corded lawnmower can be bought for less than £100 while the cordless version will be closer to the £150 level.
