One thing that disappointed us though, is that there are no Ride on Tractor Mowers available at Amazon which was quite unexpected – surely an organisation as big as Amazon would have some reputable Tractor Ride on Mowers available which means you are limited to manual, electric, cordless, robotic and petrol lawnmowers only.
On a more positive note, they do have self-propelled electric lawnmowers on sale and a larger range of self-propelled Petrol lawnmowers which is good to see so there are plenty of options here to deal with more difficult mowing conditions (perhaps even too many)

Part 1: Best Value Amazon Corded Electric Lawnmower
Bosch Rotak 34R 1300W Electric Corded Lawnmower
If you prefer a lower priced great value corded lawnmower, then we would recommend the Bosch Rotak 34R 1300W Corded Lawnmower that is designed for small lawns 50 to 80m2 on average and you should be able to get your hands on it for less than £130 when seen at the time of our review. It is made with polymer so it won’t rust and there are multiple mowing heights that range from 2cm up to 7cm.
It cuts nice and neat to the edges with its side combs and it starts no problem whatsoever every time – just plug it in, press a button and away you go. It’s perfect for small town house type lawns and it also comes backed with tons of positive reviews and a 2 year warranty

Part 2: Best Value Amazon Cordless Electric Lawnmower
Greenworks 41cm Cordless Lawnmower (2 batteries) G40LM41K2X
It was difficult to choose the best value cordless lawnmower at Amazon but we finally decided on the Greenworks 41cm Cordless Lawnmower that comes with two 2Ah batteries to cover larger lawn areas and for longer mowing runtimes.
This lawnmower is really suited for medium sized lawns 350-400m2 in our opinion with its 41cm wide mowing path and it has the larger grass bag collector with a capacity of 50 litres and you also get their 3 year warranty for peace of mind. There are 5 mowing heights that range from 2.5cm to 8cm and you don’t have to worry about any cords, fuels, oils or expensive maintenance costs for that matter

Part 3: Best Value Amazon Hover Electric Lawnmower
Flymo Turbo Lite 250 Electric 1400W Hover Lawnmower
If you need a lower priced smaller and lightweight Hover lawnmower, then you should consider the Flymo Turbo Lite 250 1400W Hover Lawnmower which is designed for small grass lawn areas up to 50m2 in our opinion and it is certainly one of the lowest prices around which is ideal for bargain hunters or people seeking the lowest possible price.
It is lightweight at just 6kg and it works by floating across the grass on a cushion of air from left to right with its 25cm mowing path. The handles can be folded down neatly so it can be stored away taking up minimum space in your shed and it works great especially on the slopes of your garden where rotary lawn mowers might struggle.

Part 4: Best Value Amazon Self Propelled Petrol Lawnmower
Webb 41cm Self Propelled 132cc Petrol Lawnmower WER410SP
For a lower priced great value self-propelled petrol lawnmower, we would recommend the British branded Webb 41cm Self Propelled Petrol Lawnmower (WER410SP) with a 4 stroke 132cc engine to plough through tougher mowing conditions such as taller, longer, denser and thicker grasses. This self-propelled lawnmower does all the heavy lifting and pushing for you so all you have to do it steer it and manage the controls around corners and gardening obstacles.
It is suited for lawn areas up to 500-600m2 in our opinion and you get 7 mowing height options as well as a robust 45 litre capacity grass collection bag. Many petrol self-propelled lawnmowers can be very expensive however this lower priced option from Webb will certainly impress you as it did us.

Part 5: Best Value Amazon Manual Cylinder Lawnmower
Einhell 30cm Hand Push Manual Lawnmower
Manual lawnmowers require more frequent mowing to prevent the grass getting too long so you need to get into the mindset of weekly or fortnightly mowing when using a manual cylinder lawn mower. Taking into consideration all the different brands, the felt the best value for the money was the Einhell 30cm Hand Push Manual Lawnmower and it can be discounted heavily from time to time so there are possible savings to be made here.
While it requires more physical work, you don’t have to worry about batteries, cords, fuels or oils so it is certainly a more environmentally friendly way to keep you grass cut and your lawn properly maintained.

Part 6: Best Value Amazon Robotic Mower
Flymo EasiLife 800 Robotic Lawn Mower
If you do not have the time to mow and you need a robotic mower to do all the work for you, then we would recommend the great value Flymo EasiLife 800 Robotic Lawn Mower that is designed for lawn sizes up to 800m2 and it has safety sensors as well as weather sensors and Bluetooth connection to your smart device. Some Robotic mowers can cost well over £1500 but this option from Flymo is certainly a more affordable solution and it is good to see that it is made by the Husqvarna group.
You will need to install the hidden boundary wire first but once that is set up, all you have to do is sit back and relax and get on with other things going on in your life. There is a pin protection for security of the mower, it can manage slopes up to 35% and it will return to the recharging station automatically when needed for charging the battery once again
